Come and see us
I have become more and more interested in the calligraphic interpretation of poems combined with illustrative effects, sometimes in a literal way, sometimes in an abstract way. My experiments have involved varying letterforms, scale and colours. Examples shown here are poems by Omar Khayyam, William Blake and Langston Hughes using inks and gouache on Canford paper.
Jewellery in Mineralised Resin
I have been developing a new range of signet-style finger-rings in mineralised resin. They involve a significantly greater amount of hand-shaping than my conventional circular rings that are hand-turned on a lathe. Like the conventional ones they can be made to order to any size and in any of the colours I offer.
